Your future role

  • Act as the Group’s expert on the Feed - Pet food market to support global commercial objectives and develop our offer to strengthen our market positioning
  • Collect, research and analyze data to gain insights into the context, needs and challenges of the various stakeholders in the market
  • Engage in fieldwork to gather insights and confirm market assumptions
  • Play a key role in developing B2B and B2B2C commercial strategies through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to align market needs with international objectives, maximizing the value and competitiveness of the offer
  • Lead local and global presentations on current trends, while actively contributing to strategic projects and discussions on market evolution
  • Manage a product portfolio for the Feed - Pet food market, from market introduction to end-of-life, and contribute to go-to-market and end-of-life or replacement strategies
  • Play a pivotal role in innovation by leading upstream exploration, establishing commercial criteria for new product development, tracking product development and contributing to the commercialization strategy
  • Oversee the development of business cases and initiate the process of defining sales objectives
  • Work closely with the go-to-market manager, technical experts, project managers, marketing managers, sales directors, Groups’ leaders and analysts
  • Provide inputs in the development of go-to-market strategy: identify appropriate distribution channels, define product and pricing positioning, and collaborate on commercialization efforts
  • Collaborate with compliance and quality teams to monitor trends and applicable regulations for all products in the portfolio

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, degree in animal health or related field
  • Prior Marketing, Business Development, Market Expansion, Packaging or industrial machinery experience in a multinational company context
  • Experience in market development within the Feed - Pet food industry — an asset
  • Passion for trade relationships and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to find reliable market information sources
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex systems and issues
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite — Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools — an asset
  • Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and product portfolio lifecycle processes
  • Proficient in English — for communication with clients and suppliers
  • Proficient in Spanish — for communication with clients and suppliers – an asset
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with business partners and key stakeholders of the Feed - Pet food industry, and visit the other Business Groups of the company
