The Comedy Barn Theater is seeking a high-level, experienced Fiddle Player to join our cast for the 2026 season .
This is a full-time performing position within one of the most successful and longest-running family entertainment theaters in the country.
We are looking for a seasoned musician who is confident performing live, night after night, in a fast-paced, high-energy show environment. Vocals are optional but strongly preferred , and applicants should be comfortable being part of an ensemble cast that blends musicianship, comedy, and stage presence. This role is not entry-level and is best suited for performers with significant live performance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fiddle at a professional level during live, fully produced theater shows.
Execute music with precision, consistency, and strong stage presence.
(Preferred) Provide lead or supporting vocals as part of group numbers or featured moments.
Collaborate with cast members, musical directors, and production staff to maintain show quality.
Learn and retain a rotating repertoire of music and arrangements.
Maintain a polished, audience-ready appearance and professional conduct onstage and backstage.
Qualifications:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria :
Strong proficiency on fiddle , with demonstrated live performance experience.
Background in professional or semi-professional performance (theater, touring, themed entertainment, or similar).
Ability to perform confidently in front of large audiences multiple times per week.
Relocation to Pigeon Forge, TN or relative commute. Housing is not provided.
Solid sense of timing, musicality, and adaptability in a live show setting.
Willingness to take direction and work as part of a collaborative cast.
Availability for a full-time schedule , including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
