**Job Title: Order Picker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role involves picking, packing, and stocking a diverse range of items, from large metal or PVC piping to small fasteners, depending on the phase of the construction project. This will be a 7:30am start time for training and then moving to a 9am start time Monday-Friday. **Responsibilities** + Use RF scan gun to locate inventory. + Correctly pick, pack, and pull item type and quantity. + Operate pallet-jack, fork-lift, and push cart depending on inventory type. + Organize staging area by priority. + Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping and mopping. + Operate computers at the will-call booth. + Assist customers, both internal and external, in item look-ups, availability, and order placement. **Essential Skills** + Preferred warehouse/labor experience. + Ability to count accurately. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver 100 lbs. + Experience with RF devices and order picking. + Proficiency in English communication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Receiving experience is highly valued. + Experience with forklift and RF guns. + Experience in order picking, warehouse management, and material handling. + Comfortable operating in varying weather conditions. **Why Work Here?** This is a great long-term opportunity with significant potential for professional growth. The environment can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter, so it's important to be comfortable with these conditions. The work takes place in a large warehouse filled with plumbing supplies, ranging from 10-15ft pipes to small bolts and fasteners. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
