Job Description

The Pick/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role ensures products are handled safely, inventory accuracy is maintained, and orders meet quality and speed standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from inventory locations using order sheets, handheld scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Pack orders securely following company standards to prevent damage during transit.
• Label, seal, and prepare shipments for dispatch, including palletizing when required.
• Verify order accuracy and check for damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use.
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and communicate any issues to supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer or scanner skills.
• Physical ability to lift 20–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures depending on season and storage requirements.
• Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and scanners.
