Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate preliminary product concepts with the Design group, ensuring the design is feasible for function and manufacturing
• Innovate on new concepts utilizing the latest consumer technology
• Create physical and digital models to prove product functionality and safety
• Define and document product performance requirements
• Review physical products and parts, generating feedback to various members of the development organization
• Pursue projects related to; optimization of our engineering workstream, outlining development standards, and technology utilization

Skills:

• solid works, Creo, 3d models, product development
• Working knowledge of any 3-d program
• Communication Skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• 0-2 years of experience in consumer products, plastics and/or other mechanical areas
• Knowledge of plastic part design, mechanisms and the injection molding process
• Proficiency in 3D modeling (PTC Creo)
