Position: Program Manager

Location: Atlanta GA/Dallas, TX***Day 1 Onsite*** (Travel 30% of time when needed)

Duration: 1 Years

Program Manager (Telecom 70% Functional / 30% Technical will need to be hands on at times)





Must Have Experience :

1. Program Manager with 17yrs + experience or more coming from Telecom environment 70% Functional / 30% Technical This will be a mix, and candidate needs to be hands on at times
2. Program Manager who has come from Telecom environment who has built Program from start to finish
3. Program Manager who has come from Development background with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka who has moved into a Program Manager
4. Program Manager with Background with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka must have experience
5. Program Manager who has experience dealing with Customer and teams managing expectations/ providing solutions / resolving issues to keep Program on track.
6. Program Manager that will ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget while fostering collaboration across diverse teams
7. Program manager who has led a team of 50 to 60 resources and help build the team.
8. Program manager will be the single point of contact
9. Excellent communication skills

We are looking for a highly skilled Functional/ Technical Program Manager from Telecom background to oversee and drive the execution of complex technical projects within our organization. This role will require a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget while fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to define project scope and objectives
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project delivery
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:

• 5+ years of project management experience in a technical environment, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Experience working with remote teams and managing distributed project stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies
• Experience with system architecture and design principles
• Knowledge of tools and frameworks for project tracking and reporting
