Responsibilities: - As a Senior Technical Business Development Manager for HPC/Advanced Computing, I will entrust you with the following tasks:
- Investigate, identify, and create strategies to grow the HPC business for federal and regulated industry clients within AWS regions, particularly focusing on the adoption of AWS Government Regions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, solutions architecture, product engineering, etc.) to ascertain customer needs, conduct feasibility studies, and define pathways for production adoption.
- Target specific customer segments, industry verticals, and partner markets with tailored value propositions and business case proposals for HPC within AWS Government Regions.
- Develop detailed business cases to support product feature requests for federal and regulated industry HPC applications and workload classes.
- Design and manage HPC-focused AWS programs and initiatives specifically for US Federal and regulated industry customers.
- Produce and manage marketing and sales materials to enhance the business development process.
- Oversee customer onboarding and adoption, crafting strategies to boost adoption rates, revenue growth, and workload retention for HPC workloads in AWS Government Regions.

- Familiarity with compliance/security standards relevant to Defense, National Security, and the broader US Federal market (e.g., DoD SRG, ICD503, NIST, CMMC, ITAR, DFARS, FedRAMP, FIPS).
