We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to support the sales process for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and technical services within our Service division. This remote-based role will require frequent travel and close coordination with both customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to translate complex needs into practical, value-driven solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell technologies, products, and service solutions to new and existing customers.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on client specifications and needs.
Manage and respond to sales inquiries via email, phone, and personal visits.
Monitor the execution of service jobs, supporting rapid decision-making as needed.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer information within CRM systems.
Conduct surveys to gather insights on customer needs and competitor offerings.
Support contract administration with timely requisitions and documentation.
Collaborate with global colleagues on technical and commercial negotiations.
Represent the company in worldwide customer meetings, adhering to pricing policies.
Research and recommend innovative technical solutions to customer challenges.
Ensure all work complies with internal safety policies and external health regulations.
Navigate technical standards across global systems and territories.
Use MS Office Suite and mobile communication tools for reporting and correspondence.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in technical sales, service engineering, or equipment support.
Knowledge of slab caster or industrial process equipment preferred.
Strong skills in proposal development, technical writing, and customer presentations.
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
High level of travel flexibility (70%+), including international travel.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor industrial settings.
May include elevated noise levels, heat, cold, and proximity to moving mechanical components, hot surfaces, and high-pressure systems.
