Job Description

As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic , you’ll work independently to ensure our fleet is safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and assign daily maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Oversee fleet compliance with DOT and other regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory control, parts procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate external repairs and test vehicles for quality assurance.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting for the maintenance department.
• Ensure department operations remain within budget and aligned with company goals.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in truck, light, or heavy equipment maintenance (waste industry experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of automobile systems.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
